It was a cold and rainy day, but the Waddle was still a success!  Not only did we raise some much needed funds to care for the hounds, but Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas took home first prize honors for the best float (adult category) in the St. Patrick's Day Parade!

 WE NEED FOSTER HOMES!!!

Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas does NOT have a shelter facility.  We rely solely on kind volunteers to foster our homeless hounds until they are adopted.  Unfortunately, there are generally far more hounds in need of rescue than people willing to foster.  A few are able to be saved by the rescue paying to board them in a kennel.  This is not only costly, but also deprives the hound of the TLC that only a foster family can provide.  Please help us get these loving little hounds out of their cages and into nuturing homes!  Fosters provide our rescued hounds food, shelter, and love - we pay for the medical bills.
